I ordered the sample because I wasn't sure what to expect. I've been wanting a white for my sketches and to mix grays. This isn't a bad ink and the fluorescence is fun but it wasn't ideal for what I was using it for.

I used this white ink with a dip pen to write secret messages for a scavenger hunt with my son (on white paper). It was such fun! You do need to make sure you have a black light - I had a penlight that worked perfectly. I didn't try it on dark paper, so I'm not sure how that would look.

My thought was this ink was an white-ish/clear ink that fluoresces darkly, I had hoped it was the answer to Noodler's Ghost Blue's main weakness, those bright white papers that glow as brightly as the Ghost Blue ink itself; but that is most definitely not the case here. This ink appears to be made for the mad penthusiast; for blending their own shades of ink or as an ink extender, on its own, its Meh.

Got this ink to try and write on my Black Field notes book, sorry to say it didn't work out for me on that one.On the good side it works nicely on a lighter colour of paper for filling in on the eyes as I do some shading for

I'd arranged through Amazon (I think) to purchase that hyper-expensive hue lightener, Noodler's Whiteness of the Whale. The price offered by Goulet was the best on the net, I received the product promptly. I'd do this again in a heartbeat. In fact, I probably will.
