Love the color.

The color is a very pretty teal to my eye and goes on well to the Goulet note cards. Haven't tried other papers yet but feel sure the results will be equally good.

I love writing with this color. I just purchased the bottle.

Beautiful green blue

I was looking for an ink that would pair well with the Lamy Petrol pen and this fits perfectly. Just the right amount to darkness without looking too black. Very professional interesting color.

Great color with great characteristics

I was looking for a Noolder's ink and my wife liked this sample so we got a bottle with no much thought. This ink if fantatsic! It writes well in every pen I've put it in; Metropolitan, Pelikan, TWSBIs, Lamys, etc. Never had a problem cleaning. The best feature of this ink is, fine or medium nibs, I have not had much trouble writing on cheap paper. It dries fast and does not bleed much, and has a great color. It's a blue/green color but dark, so doesn't look weird at work. It is probably my favorite Noodler's ink.

I *puffy pink heart* this ink

Since getting into fountain pens a couple of months ago, I've tried quite a few samples in the blue-black family. I found one that I liked somewhat, but Noodler's Squeteague is the first I've absolutely loved. Even with a Lamy Al-Star Fine, the teal/greenish colour shows through on both white and cream coloured paper. Even though I don't have to use a more conservative ink colour in my line of work, I think Squeteague might pass muster if someone only gave it a quick once-over. At a first, quick glance it looks bluish. It's only upon closer inspection that you can see how spectacular this ink really is. I'm happy that it will be my first full-bottle purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
