A great looking green!

Nice soft green

I'm using this ink in my kaweco iridesescent sport. It looks great with this pen and shows up better than I thought it would. It works well on all kinds of paper and dries very fast.

Great ink.

This is now my favorite ink, I love the fresh cool toned green. It works fantastic in my lamy safari extra-fine nib, even on normal paper.

Not my favorite green ink

I was in search of my signature green ink. This one, while lovely and vibrant, gives me retro '90s vibes that sort of miss the mark. This one would be great for writing Christmas cards.

Not what I was hoping for.

Feathers a lot - use only on very good paper. The color as shown is what I wanted with a swab but with regular writing (on good paper) it doesn't have that watered-down look. (I don't think 'watered down' is the best description - compare it to Polar Purple or Blue Nosed Bear. They look like dark colors that have been cut with water.) I like these colors because they are easy on the eye - colorful without being obnoxious. Please note I just pick the middle ground in the Value, Flow, etc. because I don't evaluate that deeply and I have to pick something.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
