A Beautiful Dark Blue Teal

For my priorities, it's a lovely color that cleans up easily, and flows well, especially on smoother paper. Using it in an EF Lamy Safari, so can't really speak to shading. In a Midori MD notebook it feels rather dry, but I think this has more to do with the Midori paper than the ink. On this paper, it has reasonable drying time (less than 10 seconds?) for journaling.

too wet for M nib and leuchtturm paper

with M opus88 pen the ink spread out to a B line and the vowels filled in to make reading troublesome. Lovely color. stick with F nib.

Stunning

This is a really pretty ink. I can't quite find a name for the color. It shades nicely. It's very visually appealing. It almost looks textured on the page, or perhaps it's that it's light enough to capture It' different textures in the paper. It's hard to describe, but it's really captivating. I could stare at this ink for ages.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
