I'm a FP newbie. I received a TWSBI 580 Diamond for my birthday and filled it with this ink. Love it so much!!
I love this ink so far. It's a nice deep dark teal with a little sheen to it. I've had no issues with flow or clogging, low feathering, and it dries reasonably fast. I am worried a bit about the mold issue, but I have not experienced it yet.
Setting aside the Iroshizuko blues and blacks (my workhorse inks), Monteverde California Teal is one three signature inks for me alongside Diamine Oxblood and Private Reserve Ebony Purple. This ink is well-behaved and has a gorgeous red sheen when the light hits it just right, especially when I ise a 1.1 stub nib to address a Clairfontaine large envelope. Highly recommend.
I love this ink. It writes wet, but drys relatively quickly. There is sheen and shading in the right lighting conditions when used on quality paper. I'm happy with the ink and will purchase again.
