Surprise!

I've never used LAMY inks before and I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered LAMY Turquoise. Smooth, wet, gorgeous color. I will be purchasing a full bottle!

Lives up to the hype

Lamy Inks appear to be hit and miss. The blue is pretty bad, the black is more than serviceable and the Dark Lilac was a gift from the heavens. Lamy Turquoise (or Pacific as it is apparently being rebranded) is a superb ink. Great colour, behaves well, and is a joy to write with. I can't and dont want to say more. If you want a blue turquoise that will knock your socks off... get it. It's cheap, it's everywhere and it's about to get even more popular.

Beautiful blue color

I just inked up my new Prera with this ink and it is blue like the Caribbean sea. It is bright but deep and makes me smile. A beautiful color!

Beautiful, bright, and cheerful!

I was looking for a bright, cheerful turquoise to use for color therapy when the winter blahs hit...and this one is perfect! It's bright but legible, with clear, lovely shading from medium aqua to a bright, true blue. It may not be the most professional-looking or businesslike choice for correspondence, but I smile every time I see it, so I'd say it's perfect for what I wanted.

Bright turquoise

the turquoise is bright and lighter than let say navajo turquise - more on the blue side than green. flows well and shades good.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
