I read some of the reviews prior to purchasing it. The complaints about the cap not providing a tactile and/or secure connection have either been corrected or... I don't know...but the cap does provide a nice "click" fit and very secure. I did notice that I had to pay attention to the barrel shape when connecting the barrel to the nib section so that I did not accidentally attach it 180 degrees out and... It has a positive slot interface that is very precise and sometimes I had some difficulty engaging it properly. Ordinarily, I don't like polished (slippery) finger locations but I just HAD to try this teardrop shape. It does work great. The nib I think, is typical of the brand. Not better or worse than their standard nib (which is quite good). The feel when writing is very good, and I do think they are on to something. Prior to this, my favorite writing pen was a sixty year old Sheaffer. At this time, I am prioritizing this one. Only issue I've had is the nib dries out more quickly than any other pen I own. I have to keep an eye on that, as it dries out in only two or three days.

I've had this pen for over 10 years and I just love it. The design is slim but still with a bit of weight to it. The extra fine nib is perfect for a German brand and it is so well made, I've never had any issues with ink flow. I am one of those people who has a non conventional grip on my pens and still it works amazingly; although, I must say that ink won't last long without being used. That is the only downside for me.

I adore the design and feel of this pen. It's very sleek and the teardrop shape really feels great in the hand. It's my favorite of the steel-nibbed lamys for sure. Fantastic.

The design of this pen including a tear drop/triangular shape works beautifully. It writes amazingly, as per Lamy and it is visually pleasing to have.

I love this pen. It writes like any other Lamy does. I use it to draw. posted it's long, which is good for me, my hands are very large.
