This ink matches its name

This ink lives up to its name with a deep, rich color. I filled my new TWSBI ECO with it and it loves this color.

Lovely orangey brown ink

This is another lovely ink in the 150th anniversary line. Terracotta is similar in color to Ancient Copper, but slightly lighter and a little more orangey. Terracotta has much better flow and evaporation resistance that Ancient Copper, and has better shading due to its being a tad less saturated. If you are finding Ancient Copper a little dry, Terrracotta is a good alternative. In a medium nib Terracotta looks very similar to Ancient Copper in a fine nib. Highly recommended.

Diamine Terracotta ink

Lovely reddish brown ink, perfect for sketching with a fountain pen - southwestern landscapes, Moroccan terra-cotta stucco walls. The color is more like a faded sepia photograph than the dark blackish brown of sepia ink. Blends well into washes using a water brush to fade the pen line. Works well with Micron sanguine pens for the permanent lines and the Diamine for the washes and softer lines.

Wonderful soft terracotta color!

I've been looking for a soft terracotta color to use not only with ivory paper, but one that would look soft and beautiful on white paper as well. I'm using this ink with my Platinum #3776 broad nib pen on Rhodia 80g white paper as well as TomoeRiver 52g white (which is actually a soft off white) paper, which I use to regularly write letters with. I could not be more pleased. It lays down wet and smooth with some shading, very similar to the sample on Goulet's website. It's elegant and classic looking as well as a little unusual, making the reader think - wow isn't that pretty!

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
