This is a great color. Just the right amount of shimmer. It starts out as a very nice dark blue and then the shimmer hits it and it turns dark with coppery sheens.

I love this ink, truly like midnight. It has a hint to black to it. I'm a fan.

Great InkI am loving this ink. When first used, it can almost appear to be black. It's only after drying, that the blue, along with a deep red sheen can be observed. Surprised that it shows the sheening even with 'fine' nibs. Diamine scored with this formula.

I'm quite fond of these special Diamine inks. This is a lovely deep blue with a beautiful obvious sheen, and I love writing with it.

I LOVE this ink. I've been eyeing blue/black inks for awhile. I'm pretty sure that above all colors, it's my go-to, so I can get pretty picky, so I have purchased enough samples to have put off buying for awhile. When I saw this bottle, however, I snapped it up without even a sample. It doesn't disappoint as far as color, smoothness, worthwhile spend and again, that beautiful bottle. But one small thing which is a preference, depending on how you use it... It runs so badly with just the tiniest smidge of water. For notetaking with highlighters, I can't do it. And I was very very upset when my grocery list smeared all over my hands and became illegible when I visited the vegetable section (wet vegetables = list disaster). So I'll shop again for the water resistant ones for ease of use. I will remember to use this in my art sketches however!
