Love this purple

I love the shading on this ink and definitely plan to buy a bottle!

Very pleasant hue.

A bit too dry in my Pilot Prera M and my Twsbi Eco Med: Starts well, but too light for me (both these pens/nibs run on the drier side). Jinhao Med (goulet nib): the shading was at the most varying overall having a darkness in the middle. TWSBI Eco broad: beautiful dark hue while still having some lovely shading. More legible while maintaining a relaxing hue. My preference!I love the relaxing hue of the this ink especially when used with a wetter pen/nib. It isn't as wet as my Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo, but the flow is consistent with no hard starts which impressed me very much. I typically stay on the blue side of purple hovering around indigo, but this happily brings me to the softer side of purple with a very pleasantly dark shading that makes this ink one of my favorites.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
