I love the flow and how it looks in a saturated form. However, I put it into a platinum preppy (that I converted into eyedropper) and it's much paler than anticipated. If I write slowly, it gets the rich green shade seen on the majority of the preview. However, if I write or sketch quickly like I normally do, I only achieve the pale peridot outsides. If you're looking for a Harry Potter/magical deep emerald green, this is not the ink for you. It's the right base tone but needs to be darker.

The ink flows well, and has pretty good shading, but I found the hue is a bit lighter than in the Goulet swatch sample, yet not bright enough to stand out as a nice, 'bright' statement color. I still found ways to use it, eg. in the page margins where I don't want my color to stand out, and I've also tried mixing a bit of black (in my case, I used Mont Blanc Black, which I had on hand) to create more of an everyday green-black, and that seemed to work pretty well, too.

I have been on the hunt for the perfect jewel tone green. I thought this would be a good place to start because it's called Emerald, but it's more of a grass or moss green than what I would describe as emerald. That said, for a lighter green, it is nice. It is smooth, reasonably wet writes easily and has some nice shading.

This ink has really nice tranquil tone. The amount of shading is just perfect for me. However, If I were Diamine, I would've name this ink moss green or something like that. As you can see in the swab, it's not shiny emerald green.

Ink flowed well, no skips, but was very blah. I had higher expectations of an ink named Emerald, after all those years watching Dorothy and Toto get makeovers.
