that is always in my Pilot E95s that runs so wet. Not real crazy about the smell but that can always be overlooked, I mix this and Hyacinth together it is a mixture of dark and a reddish purple. Nice and wet, my E95s loves it and it is a standard in this pen ever since I have had it.
This is SUCH a gorgeous purple. The pictures don't do it justice; it just seems to *pop* in my eyes. So satisfying a colour! It has a floral aroma, though I don't know what violets in particular smell like. The scent doesn't linger to any significant degree on the paper, as is unfortunately to be expected, but it is at least a bit of icing on top of this deliciously purple cake.
The smell is delicate in the bottle & lingers for awhile once used. The color & quality of the ink is just as great as most De Artramentis inks.
Love the smell and the flow of the ink! It writes very easily! I can't wait to buy the bottle!
I was searching for a bottled ink that matched Pilot Mixable ink in Violet because Pilot does not make it in a bottle. While it is not an exact match, I find DA Violets to be very similar and beautiful. I did not realize it was scented until I caught a light fragrance and put the nib to my nose. Wow! It is scented! Lovely!It is a wonderful surprise because my last purchase of DA Blackberry ink, also scented, smelled like cough syrup. This Violets ink smells lovely. I highly recommend it. :)
