Too wet for me

Got this in the random sample pack. Definitely too wet for my tastes, with zero shading.

Nice color but too wet

I got this as part of a random sample bundle and didn't know what to expect. I did an ink swatch in a notebook with 90gsm Clairefontaine paper. The first pass soaked most of the way through the paper. The second pass bled through and onto the page below. The writing sample with a dipped EF nib didn't show any feathering but it did spread to about a medium. There was no bleed through from the writing sample, but it showed more ghosting than most other inks. The color is really nice, but doesn't show much shading.

This is the blue-green I've been looking for

It just makes me happy. Somehow it looks opaque and matte to me, and I like that. Behaves well in my 3776.

A Different Sort of Turquoise

I have several turquoise inks. All.are true in color. I was looking for something a little different and decided on the document version. I love it. I am more comfortable using this dark smoky Turquoise for work.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
