If you are considering this ink, you should know that it is extremely wet. You will probably want a fine nib, and good paper is pretty much required. The wetness isn't all bad though. This is probably the smoothest writing ink I've ever used.

Oh De Atramentis! This is my workhorse ink! When I want something to stick around, no matter what, I go for Document Ink! The Dark Green is a respectable color with not a lot of flare. You won't find much shading at all on these inks, but they're really not meant for that anyways. It's flat, clear, and legible! The flow is wet and will feather and potentially bleed on cheaper paper, but that is true of a lot of these types of inks. It dries pretty fast on most paper. Pen maintenance is a little more involved than cleaning a pen with dye ink, but regular cleaning will insure that this ink won't clog. (Having this in a pen with a removable nib and feed greatly speeds up said maintenance!) Having a good pigmented ink is a must for anyone wanting an ink that'll last and survive anything you through at it; De Atramentis' Document Ink is more than up to the challenge!

I like this ink a lot. It checks the boxes for waterproof and color saturation. It's not an exciting ink, but I don't really need it to be.

Good it's still the best water resistant

I enjoy this ink, I like the color and the way it looks on different colors of paper. It is waterproof like it says. It does bleed a bit through the paper. My only complaint, is that if you do not write with it daily, it gunks up in the pen, typically requiring a cleaning of the nib. If you write every day with it then this shouldn't be a problem. I have multiple pens with different colors and brands of ink, and this is the only one that it happens to after a couple of days.
