This is a nice stealthy black depending upon the type of nib you use with it. Looks like an innocent black for business use with some pens, but in others it has a slightly reddish look. The fun part of this ink is when others around you are trying to find the invisible roses that they think were delivered! April Fool's Day is just around the corner!

It was a pleasure to write with this. As you write the scent comes off the paper and just is present while you write. It's so nice to have the extra sensory activated while writing. I thought it was silly to have scented inks so I tried a samplewell now I'm going to buy a bottle because it's fun to smell a nice rose scent while writing and even though I'm a guy, I love the smell of roses and when other people smell it, they like it even thought they aren't sure what it is that they are smelling. lol so it was a big hit with everyone.

This was the first De Atramentis scented ink I've ever purchased, and it writes beautifully, smells lovely, and is an excellent addition to my collection! :)

I was wholeheartedly expecting a very powerful rose scent but, this ink has the smell of fresh roses that may be nearby. I love it so much! The ink color itself also has almost an ombre into light grey to dark and gives my lettering a little extra pizzazz.
