A special edition Goulet exclusive ink that is a follow up to our best selling Witch by Starlight! This 30ml glass bottle of Colorverse blue/purple ink with added rose gold shimmer was made just for Goulet Pens. When it's wet it is blue, but it dries to a lavender purple ink.

This color was inspired by and named after the Witch Head Nebula, and designed with a color separation effect like the Nebula cosmic fog.

Colorverse inks are made in South Korea.

Due to the amount of particulate in this ink used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens. We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging. You will also want to be diligent about cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.

My favorite ink of all time

This is my favorite ink!!! I use it daily with an ultra flex nib. Gorgeous shading and plenty dark. No flow problems with the right nib. I need to stock up on this ink. I wish it came in larger bottles.

pale as moonlight

frankly, it's just too pale to write with. might be nice to use for adding accents, but not very functional.

I think it is too light to write with and be read. More of a teal color at times.

First of all, I use a small paint brush and also a toothpick to sample inks on HP 32# Premium copy paper and also cards meant for ink samples. And I only write with fine and extra-fine, sometimes medium point nibs, never broad and wider.

The color on the sample above looks light purplish. This is not what I get on the cards and paper. It is more of a gray-bl;ue with teal or aqua-marine splotches. The lines from the toothpick show mostly that teal like color.

For the ink that looks like the swatch above, I have decided to stick with Diamine Nightshade which I think is beautiful, but a little light. The Moonlight ink does have a little glitter to it which I wish the Nightshade did. I will not be putting this ink in a pen.

Light but beautiful. It is the perfect match for my new Franklin Cristoph pen

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.

Is shimmering ink safe to use in fountain pens? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Yes! Shimmering ink (a fountain pen ink that has small particles of glitter mixed in) is a great way to add some flare to your writing. We have found that a larger nib will showcase more shimmering particles while writing, but you can use any nib size with shimmering ink. While it is safe to use in fountain pens, it may require a little extra maintenance.

Due to the amount of particulate in this ink used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens, especially with finer nibs.

We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling, and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging.

You will also want to be diligent about regularly cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.
