I really enjoy this red. It's nice without being in your face bright.

Works well in a fountain pen as used for drawing. Is not water resistant if you apply a wet brush over a line. It makes a lovely 'paint' that is using it a little diluted or not. The colour is vibrant.

This is a great red for writing. I use it as a change up from other colors. It goes on a beautiful, bright red, then dries back to a more subdued, but very attractive and readable dark red. It's on my list for my next bottle of ink.

I bought several samples of red, looking for a specific shade. So, I picked Noodler's Red as one of the candidates. It wasn't the exact shade of red I was looking for. If you use it in a fountain pen, instead of a calligraphy pen, it will be a stronger red. I like it, I just couldn't use it for the project that I'm on right now.

Ordered it as a sample just to try something different from my normal black only inks. Makes a regular journal entry look a bit more fancy and somewhat dramatic. May possibly order as a whole bottle.
