I really love this color. I feel like both the sample and the full bottle run more reddish.

Such a beautiful color

I had gotten a sample of this ink after searching for a deeper pink/red color, as I tend to gravitate towards purple more, and wow did it exceed expectations! It has a beautiful shading quality to it that really shows off the pretty darker pink and an almost 'dried blood' kind of redish color. I'll be getting a full bottle soon here to make this a regular in my pens :)

Cherry Juice

I got the sample of this ink. And it didn't really meet my needs. I'm an artist so I use all kinds of papers and this ink was more inclined to feather and bleed on mystery papers than I would like. Not terrible by any stretch but you can't just carry it around and write on any old paper. It was not as waterproof as I had hoped. I do watercolor and have been playing around with the semi bulletproof inks. I was hoping for an ink that behaved more like the Noodlers red black when wet but this did not have that kind of effect. As for the color this feels like the exact color of cherry juice. Like you were pitting cherries and writing with the juice. It's a deep red that's more of a pinky brown. If you find that evocative you might really like this. It seems to flow average on my fine nib. Dry time is kind of slow so as a lefty this is a messy ink for me.

A Rich Burgundy Ink

A great ink that works well with my medium nib TWSBI ECO. The color is pleasant and I like how it has a subtle shade to it. For what I've been using it for (journaling in a leuchtturm1917 notebook), the dry time isn't bad, and I can move on to the next page after a couple of seconds without any smudging. I have noticed that the flow tends to dry out after a page or two of writing. In terms of water resistance, it seems to be half-waterproof: the red part of the ink will stain and diffuse, but the black part seems to stay put. Overall, it's a great ink and I will be purchasing again.

Great ink, slow dry time

I love this ink because it has great shading, and is a nice red. It's dark enough to be readable, but unique. It also shades relatively well for a darker ink in medium and broad nibs (not too sure about F or EF since I don't own either). However, I find that it takes a while to dry completely, so I have to make sure I leave it out. Definitely worth the wait though!

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
