Great color, well-behaved in a cheap fine nib. Got this as a grab-bag sample and am surprised how much I like it. Very subtle but really enjoyable color.

Summer Storm is a good description of the ink's color. An interesting thing about the ink is that it shifts colors as it dries. It is interesting to glance up at what I have written to see how different the ink looks. The ink behaves well and has not caused any issues with either of the pens I have used it in.

I loved the color of this ink as soon as I saw it and I'm glad I sampled it. Summer Storm is at its best when used with medium and broad nibs if you want to see the ink's full color potential and saturation. It could be slightly wetter and I didn't love the flow as much when I tested it with a finer nib, but as someone who prefers medium nibs, I'm happy with this ink overall and plan on getting a bottle. I adore the color of this one and if you especially enjoy dusky, moody inks, I recommend trying it out.

My first word of warning is that this ink doesn't look much like the image in the swab. The color correction made it a bit too light and a bit too purple. Its much more blue and grey, hinting only lightly into purple. Its beautiful though, and worth a try. It doesn't stand up against water at all though, but for me thats not a concern.

I used this ink in a Lamy Safari (fine nib) on Rhodia Dot Pad. First, the color is very nice - a dark purplish-gray that would be appropriate for a variety of settings. I was also pleased with the quick dry time (ready to go in ~15 sec). Unfortunately, I had to write so slowly to get a readable amount of color down that it was quite frustrating to use. In spite of this lack of saturation, I didn't get much shading either considering the saturation I was seeing (probably because I was writing so slowly). The other big issue is that any water basically obliterates this ink, making it totally unreadable once you blot it up (this seems to be a thing with this brand as neither of the other 2 colors I tried did well, but this color was the worst performer).
