Nice color but doesn't look like the Goulet pic

I used a cotton swab and stirred to the bottom of the 2ml sample and swabbed on my card. Couldn't see but a tiny tiny hint of a speck of green. And nothing but a solid lovely deep blue/purple ink in my medium nib writings. Its colorful and intense but I don't see anything really crystal like or sheening about it yet.

Pretty - but not enough to cover the cost of shipping

This was like any normal blue to me. I love Lamy, but this isn’t my color of choice.

Nice covert blue purple

Love it. I write primarily with blue and purple inks and I like that this ink is a kind of covert purple. In an EF, which I use at work because of the cheap paper, it looks enough like blue to get away with it, though if you look closely you'll know it's purple. So it's a great work ink for me. No sheen in the EFs I use, but I like it even without the sheen. I'm buying a bottle.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
