Amazing ink

I tried the sample of this ink and completely enjoyed the feel and writing of this amazing ink. It writes smoothly and there is minimal bleed through and is fast drying.

Very Nice Color

I have been looking for a green shade of ink like this and I like it. It is a higher maintenance ink, causing crusting on the feed and some nib creep. I would recommend using it in a pen that is easy to clean thoroughly.

My favorite green ink!

I've tried a few different green and this one has been perfect! It flows nicely, dries in a reasonable time,, and has a nice subtle shade to it. This will be my go to green from now on.

Interesting shade of green

I like to experiment with different shades of green, and the Goulet Pens sample program lets me do that. I'm particularly interested in Private Reserve, an interesting company. I wonder if the new ownership, Yafa, will change the character of the ink.

The best green I've found

Oh this green is just a lovely solid dark but clearly-green green. So many of the dark green inks trend towards a blue or teal, but not this one. I think this might be my new everyday ink. I'm using it in a LAMY Safari with an M nib.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
