Beautiful pink

Always looking for the perfect pink, and this is definitely a contender.

Nice dusty pink

Others have mentioned the ink is dry, which I have avoided experiencing by inking up a 1.1mm stub. The ink seems fine to me, and leaves behind a beautiful dusty pink line.

Lovely color and great shading

I have tried a lot of pink inks and this is my favorite so far. It is a beautiful soft rose with just the right amount of shading. I have not had any issues with the flow. I am using it in my Lamy Safari with a 1.9 stub nib. The writing in the photo was on a Mnemosyne note pad. I definitely plan on getting the full size bottle of this ink.

Beautiful shading!

Gorgeous color and shading! I'm using it in a wet-writing pen with a broad nib, and have experienced no problems. In a drier pen, I might use an ink lubricating additive, based on other reviews. I've used this ink on Clairefontaine white paper, on Goulet's Tomoe River notebook, on an ivory Minimalist Art paper, and even on a cheap copy paper, and it is lovely on all of them.

Beautiful color but lighter than expected

I really like this color but if you are looking for a saturated rose, this is not it. Noodler's Black Swan in English Roses is the more saturated in this color family. That being said, this looks better on white paper than a cream and is a soft, romantic color and a great flow and shading as all Robert Oster inks are

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
