Noodlers ink is great and it comes in these massive jars that will last someone like me *years* but still wont be able to stop buying all the pretty colors at such a good price
It's far more red than pink. I thought it would be a cute pinky red like the image on the site shows. But in person it's red. Very disappointed in that.
I have an ink drawer - so I like and use ink. I like Noodlers for archival and bulletproof qualities, when I'm writing certain kinds of correspondence, or music and other particular purposes. I was looking for a bulletproof red but have not yet found one that is a little too brown for me. I have several pink inks so I had always skipped over this one. Well, when I read an old review on Montain of Ink, I decided to try it. She wrote that it read "red" for her. It reads RED for I too. I like it. On the paper I have tried it on, it doesn't seem pink but rather a cool (blue leaning) red. It is NOT an orange-y red. Perfect for me.With a med. nib a little bleed through on crummy paper, but on good paper, it's fine, even with a Fude nib. Thank you, Noodlers and Thank you Goulet Pens, for this ink that has finally scratched my itch.
This is lovely ink. Well packaged and it looks marvelous on my shelf and dries like a dream on slick paper and isn't horrific on regular. However, this is more of a fresh blood color than the exquisite fuchsia pink I was hoping for. (Why didn't I look at the reviews?)
It's so much fun, great opacity a wonderful colour and so much fun to write with.
