I haven't used a document ink before so I wasn't sure what to expect with it. The saturation on the color is good, I would say the color leans a little more to red than magenta to my eye but that isn't a big thing. It does really well with the drip test I did, no smearing at all, and it seems to dry quickly.
My biggest issue with it is that when writing with it in a Noodler's Creeper flex nib, it didn't feel as smooth to me as some other inks. It almost seemed like it was causing the nib to drag a little, creating uneven lines. It might write better in a non flex, I didn't try that. But in terms of quick dry and being waterproof, it is very good.

I admit I bought this because I thought it would match my Benu Euphoria Tea Rose and it does. The ink does not disappoint. It’s a good, strong, not in your face pink. It dries well and as you would expect from document ink, minimal streaking as it dries. The flow is smooth from the fine nib. This is the best pink I’ve tried to date.

I use the DeAtrementis Document inks in my urban (and suburban, rural, and uncategorized!) sketching and love them for their rich hues and water-resistance, as I paint several watercolor washes over them. The Fuchsia is perfect for florals and that *pop* of color in figure drawing.

This Document Fuchsia is a delicious hot pinkish that is quite waterproof! Love it!!!
