I loved this pen right away. Looks great, feels good in the hand, and the magnetic cap is perfect. Running Herbin Eclat de Saphir ink, the Viper is as smooth as silk on Rhodia paper. I hear the nib moving across the paper but can feel no feedback or scratchiness. The house is dry with the heat running and another more expensive pen won't start despite being full of ink. The Viper starts right away and does not skip. Now I have to get the blue one.
