A special edition Goulet exclusive ink! This 65ml glass bottle of Colorverse blue ink with added rose gold shimmer was made just for Goulet Pens.

This color was inspired by and named after the Witch Head Nebula, and designed with a color separation effect like the Nebula cosmic fog.

Colorverse inks are made in South Korea.

Due to the amount of particulate in this ink used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens. We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging. You will also want to be diligent about cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.

My Current Favorite Ink

The Ink is a nice mid-tone cool grey. It writes well out of my broad Monteverde Innova and stub TWSBI Eco. I don't get a large amount of shimmer unless I tilt and angle the paper.

Obsessed with this ink

The shimmer on this ink is stunning. I have it loaded in a Diplomat Magnum with a medium nib, and it's always a delight to write with. This one is in my top 3 inks.

Sparkles like Starlight

I have a lot of ink. I've swatched over 100, and I can say this is my favorite to use in my Sailor Pro Gear medium nib. It requires a little warm up before writing, turn the pen from end to end, to get that shimmer evenly distributed. But that sparkle!! It is stunning. A night sky blue line that sparkles like starlight.

Disappointed

It's a very pretty ink when the shimmer comes out evenly, but in my Kakno and my TWSBI ECO it either has little to no shimmer or so much that it clogs the feed. Maybe I'll keep it for using with a dip pen or maybe I'll sell or give it away, but I don't care for larger nib sizes so this ink is pretty useless for me. I got it after reading how well it behaves in even fine nibs but that's not the case for me, even with rotating the pens to redistribute the shimmer frequently while using, which is a bit of a hassle anyway, I decided. Shimmer inks just aren't for me I guess.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.

Is shimmering ink safe to use in fountain pens? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Yes! Shimmering ink (a fountain pen ink that has small particles of glitter mixed in) is a great way to add some flare to your writing. We have found that a larger nib will showcase more shimmering particles while writing, but you can use any nib size with shimmering ink. While it is safe to use in fountain pens, it may require a little extra maintenance.

Due to the amount of particulate in this ink used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens, especially with finer nibs.

We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling, and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging.

You will also want to be diligent about regularly cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.
