It dries up fast on paper and the color is vibrant. I messed up and spilled a little on my table and clothes, but it wiped off easily and the ink on my dress came out in the wash. I was so relieved.

A sample convinced me to buy a full bottle. I love how readily it flows from a dry nib and the shading complements the dark component of the ink, creating a sort of dual-purpose ink that is very dark with a finer nib and very fun with a broader nib.

Air-Corps Blue-Black is a wonderful ink. It has a nice flow, and it has yet to give me any issues performance wise. Where this ink really comes into its own however is in it's beautiful color. It looks amazing when it is wet, fresh out of the pen, but even better when it finally dries. When dried, the ink takes on a greenish hue that can be deceiving to the eyes at first glance. Upon closer inspection though, it's still the same wonderful blue-black that now seems to be draped in a thin velvety green veil. It also preforms well across many varieties of paper, and I've used on everything from cheap office printer paper up too Clairefontaine paper. Overall it's a beautifully complex ink, and I even have a whole pen dedicated to it.

Very pleased with the ink which pays tribute to my father whose China-Burma-India blood chit I still have.

Color more green than blue/black. Performs really well on cheap paper
