Lovely grey, the color of a faded dream
I really like the Iroshizuku inks and currently have 10 bottles in different colors . I prefer fine and extra fine nibs because I have small handwriting. I like these inks for use with these nibs because the ink runs wetter than others through smaller nib sizes and still gives decent shading you usually don't get with smaller nibs. Even though the ink flows wetter comparatively there is a great balance with dry time so it's the best of both worlds - shading using a fine nib with relatively fast dry time. That's a win for me.
This ink is BEAUTIFUL. I'm using it with a calligraphy dip pen and it writes beautifully. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it.
Love this colour! It gives the look of having written with pencil but the feel of writing with ink. Very pleased with it.
I've been coveting this ink for years and now that I finally have it I can say it was everything I dreamed of and more. The color is the perfect warm-ish graphite-pencil-but-better grey I was hoping for. I love it for my extra-fine nibs because the feel of this ink is lush that it makes it feel like I'm writing with a medium.
