This limited edition Goulet-exclusive color is a showstopper! Featuring a turquoise cap and body, accented by black trim and a matching black nib, this pen is one that stands out.

Made from solid brass and assembled by hand, this mid-weight pen is ergonomically balanced and is comfortable to hold, perfect for daily writing. It fills via standard international ink cartridges or converter (included).

This fountain pen is offered with your choice of a reliable, smooth-writing German made JoWo #6 black steel nib in extra-fine, fine, medium, broad, 1.1mm stub or the new JoWo Omniflex flexible steel nib for variation in line width. With six nib options, you are sure to find a selection to fit your handwriting style.

This limited edition of 250 is a Goulet Pens-exclusive! Each pen is individually numbered on the bottom of the barrel.

Our note about the JoWo Omniflex nib: This flex nib will allow you to experience more bounce and softness than writing with conventional nibs. You can achieve some line variation with a little additional downward pressure, to a point. We recommend flexing the nib to about twice the line width that you would see without using any pressure. Please take care to avoid pressing too hard on the nib, as over-flexing could prevent the tines from returning fully to their original position and decrease or stop your ink flow.

A solid pen with an idiosyncrasy

The pens looks very nice and the fit and finish is excellent. It feels nice in the hand. The cap posts securely and does not effect the balance. The omniflex nib is not as bouncy as I anticipated nor does it offer as much line variation as I anticipated but I am still quite pleased with how it writes. The only issue I have takes place when I fill the pen; it will not write. I find I have to remove the converter after it is filled and then reinstall it to make the ink flow. I have no idea why but it works every time.

Gorgeous Pen!

There isn’t anything about this pen that I don’t like! The looks, the writing, and the feel of using it are all great.

Beautiful pen!

This was my first Monteverde pen. The sparkle of the turquoise is beautiful. The pen has a perfect weight to it and feels good in the hand. I went with the fine nib and Diamine Havasu turquiose ink. It writes wonderfully with no drag or scratch at all. This may have been my first Monteverde but it will certainly not be my last. And, as always, Goulet is the best!

Beautiful Turquoise Blue

Stunning color and writes smooth and clean. Love this pen and all my co-workers are jealous of the color. My new favorite pen.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use this pen with ink cartridges? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A cartridge is small, disposable, sealed plastic reservoir that holds fountain pen ink. These come pre-filled with ink, and typically you just push to insert them into place and you'll be ready to write!

This pen uses standard international ink cartridges, a common size which is available in many colors from various brands.

You can learn more about how to actually install an ink cartridge on our blog, or in this video tutorial:

How do I use a converter? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A converter goes in the place of where the ink cartridge would normally go. From there, you can fill your fountain pen from bottled ink.

A converter is a detachable and refillable ink reservoir that allows you to use bottled ink in a cartridge-accepting pen. Typically you will install the converter into the grip section, dip the nib/feed into the ink, and twist or pull the converter knob to draw ink into the converter.

We have a great video showing how to use a converter here:

How do I clean this fountain pen? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

It mostly comes down to flushing out the pen with water, and sometimes a little bit of pen flush if the ink is really stuck.

We put together a blog post with step-by-step instructions, or you can watch the video here:

We recommend a good cleaning every 2 weeks, and any time you change ink colors. Water will usually do the trick, but we recommend you use our Goulet Pen Flush if the ink has been left in the pen for a while and could have dried up, or when you’re switching ink colors.

For even more information about fountain pen cleaning, check out our Fountain Pen 101 video blog post.
