Lovely professional ink

This is a very nice workplace appropriate ink. Unless you're in a place with very bright lighting, this ink appears pretty dark, in a sweet spot between black and grey, with blueish tones. I definitely think it leans more blue than green, but it's also fairly desaturated, so it doesn't make much difference. I put it in a pen with a fine, mildly flexy nib, and I get great shading with this ink. Really satisfying shading I don't see too often in this color group. Flow is good too, not soaking, but gives the pen a lot of smoothness to work with. Overall really happy with this color for my workplace notes.

Great shade of blue/gray

The swatch is pretty close to the actual color, which is much more blue than green. It's sort of a deep, slate gray/blue. Elegant.

Gorgeous color

I can't quite describe the color as it depends on the light and the nib for the shade and whether it seems more blue or grey, but no matter, it's beautiful. It is also a very well behaved ink.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
