Very pretty bright blue

Brighter than I expected but very very pretty, works well in my pilot kakuno, I see myself getting a full bottle of this.

Beautiful color

Found this ink from one of Brian's many YouTube videos and I had to give it a try. When I first swabbed it, I wasn't terribly impressed. I believe that's due to the rather absorbent paper I have been using for swabs. Once I inked this up in my TWSBI 1.1 mm stub and wrote on my Rhodia tablet, I fell in love. Much more shading than I got from the swab and a more green hue

Gorgeous Shading

I bought this sample with my first purchase of fountain pens and inks... what a lovely introduction! This ink is a beautiful colour - a blue with a touch of green that isn't overbearing to look at when used for long writing samples. The shading is stunning. Absolutely going to buy a bottle once I get through all the samples I have!

A Great, Vibrant Green Turquoise

A very vibrant and saturated color which seems to jump off the page! I have been searching for a light blue ink to represent water in architectural sketches. Diamine Marine is more of a greenish teal, whereas Noodler's Navajo Turquoise and Lamy Turquoise lean more towards blue. Try it out--you won't regret it!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
