I LOVE this ink. The shading is just right for me and its easily readable. It makes reading a joy. Fast strokes are more yellow, slow ones more brown. 10/10 adore it.

I really love Diamine Ancient Copper ink. It is definitely one of my favorite inks with its reddish brown vibrancy and welled behaved flow thar keeps up with fast writing. There is no feathering or bleed through while being inked in a Benu Euphoria Bourbon with a fine nib.

This is my second bottle of this. A nicely saturated color that looks beautiful on the page.

Love it

I love this color! I knew from the reviews it wouldn't hit polished copper notes, but it is a gorgeous warm brown (a tiny bit more brown than the online swatch), like "ancient" copper probably would be. I'm using it in a Lamy EF pen at the moment, and it exhibits a bit of shading even in a normal writing line. I haven't tried it with a broader nib yet, but I expect it'll be equally as satisfying. Not quite dark enough to be considered a "professional everyday ink" - I use Oxblood for that, and I use this for editing and markups (and my own notes of course), along with Diamine Pumpkin. Definitely will buy again.
