This Edison Premiere pen is made of a sparkly colorful resin made by Jonathon Brooks. It comes with a gold-plated clip, and a gold-plated #6 JoWo steel nib engraved with the Edison logo. It accepts a standard international converter (included) or short standard international cartridges. It can also be converted to an eyedropper with a little bit of silicone grease.

Only 225 pens were made of this limited edition pen and they are only available at Goulet Pens!

The Premiere marks the first pen of an exclusive line of Edison fountain pens available only through the Goulet Pen Company. All Edison pens are handmade in Milan, Ohio by Brian Gray and are each unique.

We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, there will be some variation in the pattern seen here. This adds an element of uniqueness to the pen, with no two patterns being exactly the same. We cannot honor special requests.

Amazing Shimmer

This is my second Edison Premiere and it does not disappoint. Same great writing experience and beautiful design. Photos cannot capture how this pen shimmers and the way the colors blend. It's just fantastic in person.

Iridescent and Beautiful

I saw the Edison Premiere Fountain Pen in Starry Primary Manipulation while watching a Goulet Pens video. I already own an Edison Beaumont fountain pen so I am familiar with the company's quality. I ordered the Starry Primary Manipulation pen in a fine nib. It writes smoothly and beautifully. The pen is very nice to look at with its pearlescent rainbow colors. It feels comfortable in the hand and I think it actually improves my handwriting, My only complaint is that the pen is very lightweight and a little cheap feeling. I expected a little more for such an expensive pen.

Only the. Best

A great pen. First of this model I have acquired. Edison never disappoints.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use this pen with ink cartridges? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A cartridge is small, disposable, sealed plastic reservoir that holds fountain pen ink. These come pre-filled with ink, and typically you just push to insert them into place and you'll be ready to write!

This pen uses standard international ink cartridges, a common size which is available in many colors from various brands.

You can learn more about how to actually install an ink cartridge on our blog, or in this video tutorial:

How do I use a converter? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A converter goes in the place of where the ink cartridge would normally go. From there, you can fill your fountain pen from bottled ink.

A converter is a detachable and refillable ink reservoir that allows you to use bottled ink in a cartridge-accepting pen. Typically you will install the converter into the grip section, dip the nib/feed into the ink, and twist or pull the converter knob to draw ink into the converter.

We have a great video showing how to use a converter here:

How do I clean this fountain pen? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

It mostly comes down to flushing out the pen with water, and sometimes a little bit of pen flush if the ink is really stuck.

We put together a blog post with step-by-step instructions, or you can watch the video here:

We recommend a good cleaning every 2 weeks, and any time you change ink colors. Water will usually do the trick, but we recommend you use our Goulet Pen Flush if the ink has been left in the pen for a while and could have dried up, or when you’re switching ink colors.

For even more information about fountain pen cleaning, check out our Fountain Pen 101 video blog post.
