Noodler's Blue Black is a really pleasant dark blue for all-purpose writing and journaling. I tend to prefer darker shades of color inks and this has become one of my favorite permanent blues, along with Sailor Seiboku. I love the permanence of a lot of Noodler's inks and Blue Black is great in that regard as well.

Great ink. Not as "navy" blue as I'd prefer, but a fantastic rich color nonetheless.

This ink was the perfect color mixture. I get bored with standard black ink. Since I'm using my pens at work, I can't use bright or different color inks, the combination is perfect for that. I still get a nice looking dark color that at first glance people assume it's just normal black ink or maybe dark blue. I ordered a bottle right after the test color.

After having sworn off Noodler's a few years ago, I decided to give them another chance. It definitely surprised me with how well it performed in my pen.

This is actually the first ink I have ever tried. I find the color very nice, I enjoy the blended chameleon aspect of the ink. I use a fine nib, and it flows smoothly at just the right pace. Drying time is a little on the slow side in the notebook I use, but on the plus side there is no feathering. I am for sure considering a larger bottle of this one.
