Monteverde Blue Skies

I received this ink as part of a promotion and thought I'd give it a try. It's a nice colour but on paper with a not great finish it bleeds like no other ink I have. I assume this has to do with the ITF technology which is probably a surfactant additive. It's doing what it's supposed to, but I can' t / won't use it and took it out of my pen. For others this may be wonderful ink, so just a cautionary observation.

Beautiful Blue IInk

Monteverde Blue Skies ink is a rich, deep blue ink. The color is a little darker than royal blue. It looked somewhat brighter on the website. However, I find that it looks just like Diamine Blue Velvet and Private Reserve DC Supershow Blue inks, which I already own.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
