My Eco is writing again!

The FAQ here suggested that the echo pen used the same nib and feed combination as another TWISBI pen. It saved my pin, because now I'm able to write using the alternate feed.

Mini Steel Nib

No matter how hard I try, I cannot remove the nib nor the feed from the plastic cover. Watched the tutorial several times, Csnnot budge the nib. Unfortunate purchase.

Bought to replace Twsbi Eco nib unit

This was a diaster. No way to remove nib and feed from the unit. I followed the video. Wouldn't budge. Ended up destroying the feed. Thankfully I had a twsbi diamond pen with a good feeder. So I used that. but that nib was also junk....so I barely managed to removed the nib from this unit. Still not perfectly and wouldn't have attemted this if Twsbi still carried the pink eco.

Did work well after some uncertainty

I got the replacement nib for my TWSBI eco, intending to follow the procedure I watched in one of Goulet Pens' videos to replace the nib. It was a bigger struggle for me than the video made it out to be. I guess Drew is just a pro at replacing nibs :). Anyway, even though I broke the feed from the replacement unit, I did still have the original feed from the pen, so I was able to finish the tinkering job and now I can write in extra fine! Yay!

Very Hard to Remove Nib and Feed from Section

I purchased this because I wanted to turn my TWSBI Eco with a fine nib into a TWSBI eco with a Broad nib. It was an absolute fiend to remove the nib and feed, and it did destroy this feed in the process. Fortunately, I was able to use the original fine nib feed that my Eco already had. So in the end it worked out, and I will say I am loving the feel of the TWSBI broad nib itself now. But I would not recommend purchasing this to put the nib and feed in an Eco like I did. Just buy a new Eco and save yourself the hassle!
