Sweet paper.

Noodlers El Lawrence with a TWSBI 1.1 stubby looked pretty rad dude.

Very Nice!

Takes Noodler's Black and Dark Matter quite well. Love the lined sheet to place under your writing paper for straight lines! Will be purchasing again.

Writers' dream paper

Original Crown Mill all cotton is my favorite to write on. The texture makes writing very unique and pleasant. Does not bleed through at all and sheer enough to use with a guide. I have journals made with this paper and love it! The best paper!

Beautiful paper, feels nice when writing

With intaglio printmaking in my background, I enjoy the tactile quality of cotton paper. By now fountain pens have replaced my etching needles. Each pen has a different feel and quality of line. I am using an Original Crown Mill tablet for my journal--the binding isn't intended as a book binding, so the block breaks, but I like the paper better than that in the books I have used. The cover and back of the pad make a nice enclosure for the sheets. The backing paper with ruled lines is helpful. The paper is a pleasure to write on. I like the feel of my hand resting on it as I write. For the writing itself, each pen feels and sounds different. With a very fine nib, the surface feels a little granular and there is some resistance to the motion of the pen, but that does not impede writing. The granularity and resistance lessen with broader and wetter nibs, but the pen is never going to slide out of control. A wet nib feels and looks particularly lush, my wettest being a gold medium Lamy. The slight texture is what brings out the different characters of pens. For my pens, mostly fine and extra fine Japanese and German, the edges of the lines are distinct. It is possible to write clear, small letters. None of my pens require pressure. I have an extremely fine one that can use a little pressure to give the ink the density it displays on Clairefontaine. My nibs have never picked up any lint, which can be a problem with cotton papers not made specifically for fountain pens. This paper is an indulgence I enjoy very much.

My New Favorite Paper!

Has just a bit of tooth, a great feel in the hand, and an old world quality to it. A gorgeous watermark as well!
