This nib has been seriously good for the price paid. I am very new to fountain pens. I was given a Karas Ink V2 by a friend who did not want it and found myself tinkering with it. Upon further inspection and research, I found that the tines of the nib had been bent so I went to figure out where I could get a replacement. I honestly just wanted a working nib so that I could try out a fountain pen, so I bought the cheapest #6 nib I could find. This nib was more than a great replacement to a damaged nib. This nib has also introduced me to a new hobby. I have nothing to compare this nib against, but it seems to be a bit wetter than some others that I have observed online. I experience ink creeping to the top side of the nib, though I am unsure if this is due to the nib or the feed. I do sometimes have a random hard start here and there. I have read that heat setting is helpful for noodlers nibs, and I have not tried that, so maybe that would fix the problem. Overall, a great experience. As for Goulet Pen Co., the customer service is excellent. I loved the detail with which they handled the package. It was clear that a person who cares packed this package.
