Awesome pencils!!

I have a Lamy 2000 set and now is complete! It's a solid mechanical pencil! That matches my Lamy 2000 fountain and ballpoint pen!! I use to make annotations in books that I am reading!! Great style, feels like it will last a long long time!!Wally Wyman

Overall Great Writing Experience

I've been using the .7mm LAMY 2000 pencil daily at work for a few weeks now. Step 1 for all my new pencils is to immediately discard the lead that comes with the pencil & replace with 2B lead of the appropriate diameter. 2B lead is noticeably smoother than the lead that comes in most pencils. The pencil is very solid & the lead advances positively with each click of the cap. Another nice feature is that it uses almost the entire piece of lead (graphite these days). It's been my experience that most pencils stop advancing the lead when there's still quite a bit of lead left. With this pencil, there's very little waste. So yay... saving the planet and all that! I do find the edges of the clip to be a bit sharp if I happen to grab it with the clip facing my hand. That's not an issue with fountain pens b/c you typically post the cap with the clip facing away from your hand. Overall a very sturdy, solid pencil, nothing about it feels cheap... with the very cool looks of the LAMY 2000 brand. I'd definitely recommend it.
