Bottom Shelf: This pen has been gently used, but is otherwise in great shape. While every effort to clean these pens is made, as they are not brand new, you might see residual ink or water. All Bottom Shelf sales are final.
In keeping with S.T. Dupont's enviable reputation for luxury writing instruments at the forefront of technology, Dupont’s new 'carbon' collection combines all the unique benefits of modern day carbon graphite with S.T. Dupont’s iconic ‘Line D’ oversize writing instrument. This highly reflective carbon material is complemented by a bold matte black finish.
S.T. Dupont utilizes a specialized carbon graphite composite, a material synonymous with luxury, used in the production of modern day 'super' cars and rare mechanical timepieces. The final result is ultra-lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and aesthetically pleasing.
The Carbon Graphite collection is crafted in S.T. Dupont’s ‘oversize’ Line D writing instrument. Each pen features Dupont’s bold blazon on the articulated clip in black enamel, an enhanced Dupont 'D' in the crown of the cap and a perfectly balanced shape for exceptional writing. The pen cap closes with Dupont's iconic 'cling' and features a fluted grip section for a superb writing experience.
Perfectly engraved into each pen cap is Dupont’s iconic 'micro diamond head' design, emboldened with a matte black finish, perfectly accenting the vibrant colors of the carbon composite.
This black and white carbon graphite fountain pen is complemented by matte black PVD and ruthenium trim. It is enhanced with a black 14kt gold nib, and fills via standard international cartridge/converter (both are included).
Company Background:
S.T. Dupont is a leading brand of luxury products designed and made in France. Founded in Paris in 1847 by its namesake Simon Tissot Dupont, today S.T. Dupont is world famous for their exceptional writing instruments. S.T. Dupont has been a supplier to Royals, Aristocracy and celebrities including: Coco Chanel, Leonardo DiCaprio, the British royal family, Audrey Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe.
In the 1930s, S.T. Dupont perfected the bonding of the nigh indestructible Urushi lacquer onto metal, offering a strong luxurious finish to their writing instruments. The company mastered the art of fine lacquer by rediscovering and perfecting ancient Japanese and Chinese techniques. This process has become a staple of the luxury S.T. Dupont brand through the present day.
S.T. Dupont products are still made at the original workshop located in Faverges near the French Alps. Their writing instruments are world renowned for precise engineering and intricate goldsmith manufacture. They are committed to innovation and cutting-edge technology while also retaining status as a Heritage brand.

What does the Bottom Shelf mean?
The Bottom Shelf is for an item that cannot be sold as brand new. All items on the Bottom shelf will function as new.
Bottom Shelf items are not eligible for returns.
What if I have a problem with my Bottom Shelf item?
Since we have tested every used item before putting listing it online, Bottom Shelf items are not eligible for return. However, our Customer Care team will be happy to help you troubleshoot if needed.
Can I see what my actual item looks like before I purchase it?
We do not rephotograph items when listing them on the Bottom Shelf, but the product description should describe what, if any, differences you should expect from what is pictured.
