The paper is of good quality and accepts my fountain pen inks well. The letters sinks into the paper with ease with clarity and decent drying time. Some feathering can occur of the paper gets damp, as its fibers gets jumbled, but that is because I used watered down ink to taint my pages before I added magical text.

This notebook is a dream. The B5 size is the perfect compromise if A5 is too small and A4 is too large. There's plenty of room to write and still have it be portable and not heavy in your bag. The paper itself is some of the best I've ever seen. It's an offwhite, so easy on the eyes and silky smooth with no snag. I use mostly fine and medium nibs and no ghosting or bleed-through. It's amazing.

Apica is my favorite paper. Very smooth and a joy to write on. And I love the Apica notebook because it lays very flat. I use it for my daily journaling. Highly recommended!

I used this notebook for daily notes and minutes from multiple meetings across different business units. The pages are silky smooth and the fountain pen ink really flows well on these pages, with minimal if any bleedthrough. I've tried many other notebooks but this one is a notch above Clairefontaine, Rhodia, Levenger Notablia, etc.

The paper is smooth and helps ink shade very well. I write with broad and italic nibs so the 8mm line spacing works well for me. And the size of the notebook is my new favorite for using as a journal. It's still somewhat compact, but I can fit far more words on the page when writing. And I am not as frequently moving on to the next line. It feels less frantic to write on this size page. Of course the Apica quality is there with the terrific sewn binding. I don't mind the soft cover. I leave the plastic bookcover-like sleeve on the notebook. It gives it more protection. It would be great if it came in a hard cover, however. But I love this B5 size!
