How to Fill a Pilot Con-70 Converter
The Pilot Con-70 converter is a pretty cool converter. It's a hybrid button/vacuum filling cartridge/converter that fits some of the larger Pilot pens, like the Custom 74 (a favorite of mine), the Justus 95, and the Metal Falcon. It's too bit to fit the Pilot Metro or E95s, which will take the Con-40 and the Con-B.
Because only a few pens use it and it's so different than most other types of converters, it can be confusing to fill if you don't quite know what to do. If you are used to piston style converters, this is going to be different in how it fills, and how much ink it will hold, so be prepared! Since it's different, I thought we needed a video to show how to use it.
Since the first video published, Pilot made some updates to the Con-70 converter in early 2020, so we have a follow-up video with more of what you need to know!
The Pilot Con-70 offers 1.1ml of ink capacity, and works in most larger Pilot pens.
