Chromashading Inks
If you’re in the market for a new fountain pen ink, you can choose from a wide range of ink properties, including water-resistant inks or ones filled with lots of glittering goodness. One ink property, in particular, is chromashading, and here we’ll discuss its dazzling effects.
What is Chromashading?
Before we dive into chromashading, let’s talk about shading. Shading happens when ink pools on the page, sometimes leaving a more saturated concentration. This effect usually creates a dark and light variation of the ink, and mostly happens with lighter colors.
Chromashading essentially works the same way as shading, but instead of having a variation of just one color, there are multiple hues seen in chromashading inks.
Sailor has several dazzling chromashading inks, and we’re not just talking about shading from light blue to an even lighter blue. These fountain pen inks have multiple tones, creating a unique color-filled writing experience.
