A new limited fountain pen ink line from TWSBI! This frosted glass bottle contains 18ml of Pink fountain pen ink.

The series name 1791 comes from a famous book written in 1791 in China, called "The Dreams of the Red Chamber". TWSBI picked names for each of these inks in Chinese from this book. In English, the names just describe the color of the ink, however, in Chinese, it comes from 6 famous buildings described in this book.

Not the color I was expecting

Based on previous reviews I was excited to get a bright pink ink with a touch of coral. Instead this color appears to look like a dirty old pink highlighter. Writes wet in my Twsbi vac 700, which I like but I can not stand this dusty pink highlighter color.

Pretty in Pink

After trying out this color, I'm pleasantly surprised. It's much drier than the TWSBI black ink I have, which was unexpected since I was thinking it would be just as wet. Of course, TWSBI ink isn't the highest quality stuff on the market, but this bottle was cheap for a decent amount of ink so I won't complain. I really like the color, although it is a little lighter than shown in the swab on the site. Would probably purchase again.

Nice coral color

It isn't quite as pink as I expected, but it's still a beautiful color. It matches really well with the coral TWSBI EcoT.

NOT pink!

This is not pink, not even close to pink. Nothing like the picture. This is peach and not a nice shade of peach mixed with a bit of pink. First TWSBI ink I bought. Won't buy TWSBI again. So glad I didn't spend more than I did. Would return it if I could. Goes to the White Elephant gift exchange at Christmas.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
