A great way to get a feel for the ink

This was my first sampler, and I was very pleased with it. I enjoy seeing inks with my own eyes to see what it really looks like. I reused the vials to store small doses of ink.

Excellent cost-effective way to sample Pilot inks

A few months ago I bought a sample of Kon-Peki from Goulet and fell in love with it. To get over the pandemic blues, I ordered the other Pilot inks to try out. Alas, I don't like them as much as Pilot Kon-Peki, but I'm glad I can take these out for a spin without having to buy entire bottles. (My ink testing pen is a Pilot Preppy with a 0.3 line, so your results may vary.)

No. We are unable to make substitutions in any of our ink sample sets.

All of our ink samples are also available for purchase separately.

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial?

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml?

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
