Got my go-to for the notorious RBG

My go-to inks for red, blue, and green came from this set: Red Rattler, Blue American Eel, and Cactus Gruene. I already have Purple Heart. I'm digging on Cactus Fruit and Turquoise, too.

I love samples. The Cactus Flower color is a lot more magenta than shown, which is a god think!

I was very pleased with this sampler of Noodler's Eel inks, they're beautifully vibrant colors and flow really well. Can be on the wetter side, but with the right pen it's not as messy. I loved the inks so much I've purchased 2 full bottles and will probably buy more in the future!

No. We are unable to make substitutions in any of our ink sample sets.

All of our ink samples are also available for purchase separately.

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial?

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml?

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
