These are some really good purples. Very new to the fountain pen hobby, so I'm really glad this website has an option to get samples. In order to try out inks in the real world instead of only going off pictures.

I love the sample set. Always great colour choices. Now I have to decide which one or two I like best. Thank you for making those available. It is so helpful.

So fun!!! I love being able to switch shades every couple of weeks without having to do a deep clean of my pen.

Goulet has come up with a very colorful selection of purples I will enjoy. The set arrived today. Just by chance, my first selection was the Rohrer & Klingner (German brand) 'Scabiosa' color ink. I was not sure what 'Scabiosa' meant, so I went to Goulet's writeup on that ink and also did some additional research. I learned that Scabiosa is a purple flower. And I learned that this particular ink is an iron-gall ink, meant as a more permanent, water-resistant ink � and one that should not be in a pen for more than a week. I will flush mine out later tonight, probably. I would recommend that Goulet warn the consumer about Scabiosa being an iron-gall to prevent potential pen corrosion. Other than that, I think I have a great selection of purples.

Gorgeous assortment of colors, so far each one has been beautiful and writes smoothly and easily. Im not a fountain pen expert, but really pleased with my new inks
