Got this in the mystery ink pack. I was surprised I like this color; I wouldn't have chosen it. It is a very dark gray with a plummy tint. I used it on cheap notebook paper using a Conklin Duragraph pen with omniflex nib, and love the way it looks. Easy to read, tasty color, soothing to the eye, medium spread, flows easily. It spread in my vellum sketchpad, very little in my Rhodia pad. I'll definitely buy some in the future. I can see it being an everyday ink, if I ever get over my obsession with greens.
It has a wetter flow, but it's a really lovely dark, warm purple. It has become one of my favorites.
