Lovely colors - need a syringe for bigger pens

My first Sampler and I can say I am a big fan. The chance to sample inks is one not to be passed up! The Agate and Peridot were as dark as I had hoped they would be - love a lot of contrast.One challenge is that the vials do NOT accommodate pens like the Dialog 3, so you will need an ink syringe. Definitely get a pair for $5 while you're at it.

Disappointing sheen -- Lovely ink

Rich, bright, jewel tone purple ink. Disappointed that I don't detect even a hint of the green sheen shown on the Swab Shop photo. Will experiment with different papers and pens and perhaps it will show up. (My own fault for not trying a sample vial first.) That being said, this is my second Lamy ink, Amazonite being the first. I love how they flow from the nib, how saturated these colors are, and I know I'll use them a lot.

Just enough ink to try out a new color. I love this selection and looking forward to narrowing down my choices.

i didn't know much about lamy ink. They do have some great colors and no issues with the ink overall

No. We are unable to make substitutions in any of our ink sample sets.

All of our ink samples are also available for purchase separately.

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
