I would definitely agree that the color pictured is more of a bright magenta; the ink looks much redder on paper, albeit with a strong pink undertone. As with all Kaweco cartrdiges, it's vivid and writes well—a solid choice!
She is loving her Fountain Pen experience! I have got her totally in the "group"!
This is one of my go-to markup inks due to its dry time and being easy on the eyes for a still noticeable red. I do find that it will dry start more often than my other Kaweco cartridge colors.
Good ink. I was having problems with dryness/bad flow in all my Kawecos (a Lilliput, 3 Sports, a Sport Brass). I've found that using Kaweco ink solves the problem and I don't have to research anything, which is good: I don't have the time (or the inclination, really) to research ink properties. The ink is wet enough, and it dries quickly enough. So, Wet and Fast. I haven't checked water resistance, but I assume it's washable, so Low. My eyes are getting too old to discern shading very well, so Medium. But please don't take my word for it! :)
